my cousin is in town from vancouver. i miss her. we sorta grew up together. even though we were across the country, our parents are extremely close and we are all close in age. every time that we see each other i learn a little more about my family.
she always seems to know the inside information that my dad and i don’t talk about. i wish that he would talk to me about it but i understand that he has my step mom and definitely my aunt to talk to about these family issues.
so her and her brother’s girlfriend stopped by for a couple hours to chit chat about life, family, future and swap dating stories. definitely a girls night. if she ever moves here, the three of us are definitely having some girl nights.
i’m not sure if i wanna hear about family drama sometimes or just keep out of it. do i wanna know all the deep dark secrets about their personal feelings or just believe that they all get along? i guess that i don’t get to choose if i already know. sometimes i wish that it was my dad instead of my cousin that tells me these things.
i really love my dad and how patient he is with EVERYTHING. sure it may seem like he has a temper, is stubborn and close minded, but he is the MOST reliable person in my life.
